A couple of weeks ago, we held a little workshop at the dojo where we all went over some of the shortcuts we use on our computers to be more productive and work faster. We then started talking about free tools/apps/extensions that we love.
Noah brought up one and I was like "Wtf, I've never heard of that tool before! Why you been holding out dog?"
Then I realized ... there are so many lesser-known free tools that each of us use that other people have no idea about.
Here are a couple of my favorite free tools to make your day better:
Honey is a Google Chrome extension that finds coupon codes when you're shopping online. It works with over 100 sites including Amazon, Best Buy, CVS, Gap, Macy's, NewEgg, and a ton others.
Instead of manually searching for coupon codes, Honey does all the work to save me money when I'm shopping online.
This awesome Gmail plug-in shows info about your contacts right inside your inbox. Not only that, but with it you can figure out anyone's email address in less than a minute.
